Class of 2003
AJ LaMonda – AJ helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 3rd place finish in the 2001 World Series and 4th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ. He took 1st team All-Serra League honors while attending Servite HS. In 2007 AJ was a Baseball America Preseason first-team All-WCC at Loyola Marymount University at 1st base.
Michael Elkerson – Mike David helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 8th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ where he faced Phil Hughes in the Elite 8 game. He attended San Clemente HS and continued to play at Saddleback College before transferring to Abilene Christian University. He signed as an Undrafted Free Agent with the Atlanta Braves in 2008.
Class of 2004
Phil Hughes – Phil played for the Tustin Titans organization. He was a first team All-American pitcher and threw one perfect game while attending Foothill HS. He as drafted in the 1st round with the 23rd pick by the New Yankees in 2004. He currently pitches for them in the big leagues.
Brandon Dixon – Brandon helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 8th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ. While attending Tustin HS he received 3 first team all league honors, and was selected to the All-County team. He became a first team All-Orange Empire Conference, All-State and second team All-American while pitching at Orange County College. He currently pitches at Point Loma Nazarene University.
Corey Arbiso – Corey David helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 8th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ where he faced Phil Hughes in the Elite 8 game. While attending Buena Park HS he was a three time All-Freeway League honoree. He pitched for Cal St Fullerton in 06 and 07. Casey was drafted in the 22nd round with the #680 pick by the New York Yankees in 2008.
Casey Arbiso – Casey David helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 8th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ where he faced Phil Hughes in the Elite 8 game. While attending Buena Park HS he was a two time first team All- Freeway League honoree and one second team All-Freeway League honor. Casey played for the Angels Elite Team before attending Cal St Fullerton and Cypress College.
Andrew Bovich – Andrew helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 8th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ. He graduated from San Clemente HS. He pitched at Riverside Community College before becoming an honorable mention NAIA All-American at Point Loma Nazarene University. Eric signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Diego Padres in 2009.
James Simmons – James helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 8th and 24th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ. He attended Norco HS and was named second team All-American by Baseball America while pitching for Riverside University. He was drafted in the 1st round with the #26 pick by the Oakland Athletics in 2007.
David Huffman – David helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 8th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ where he faced Phil Hughes in the Elite 8 game. While attending Santa Margarita HS he received two second team All-Southern Section honors and was selected as Player of the Week by the Orange County Register. David played at UC Davis
Justin Bunkis – Justin David helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 8th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ where he faced Phil Hughes in the Elite 8 game. He helped Santa Margarita to the Serra League title in 2004. Justin played at Loyola Marymount University
Class of 2005
Blair Dunlap - Blair helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to top 32 finish in the Junior Olympics. In 2004 Blair took All-Serra League and All-CIF honors. He earned 2004 Puma All-America accolades. He was listed as on of the top 200 high school seniors in the county listed by Street and Smiths 2005 Baseball Yearbook. Blair was selected in the 43rd round with the #1288 pick by the Baltimore Orioles.
Class of 2006
Kyle Mertins - Klye played at Santa Ana College. He was part of a group of pitchers that was helped on the mental aspects of the game in 2008. He was named the Century League Co-MVP in 2006 along with All-CIF and All-County honors. Kyle pitched at Santa Ana College for 2 years and Cal State Fullerton for 2 years.
Justin Uribe – Justin played for the Tustin Titans, Saddleback Valley Devils and OC Dawgs. He attended Foothill HS where he received the Sea View League MVP honors and first team All C.I.F. Honors while helping the Knights win the CIF-SS Division II Championship in 2006. He currently plays outfield at UCLA.
Brad Boxberger – Brad played for both the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. He was the 2006 CIF Division II Player of the Year, NBCA All-American second team honors, and Orange County Player of the Year by the LA Times and Orange County Register. He helped the Knight win CIF-SS Division II Championship in 2006. While pitching for USC he was an All-Pac-10 selection as a junior and was a Freshman All-American second team. In 2009 he was selected in the 1st round with the #43 pick by the Cincinnati Reds.
Stephen Gonzalez – Stephen played for the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. He helped lead the Foothill Knights to a CIF-SS Division II Championship in 2006. Stephen played at Santa Ana College and was selected to the All-Southern California team in 2009.
Max Burnett – Max played for the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. He helped lead the Foothill Knights to a CIF-SS Division II Championship in 2006. He was the starting catcher at Saddleback College in 2008.
Grant Green – Grant helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 24th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Tucson, AZ. While attending Canyon HS he earned All-CIF Division I honors and first team All-Century League honors. He was also a member of the 2005 US Junior National Team. Grant played at USC and is currently 5th on the Pac-10 Conference all time list in triples, 5th in average and 10th in doubles on the USC’s all-time list. He was drafted in the 1st round with the #13 pick by the Oakland Athletics in 2009.
Toby Alderete – Toby helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ and a 3rd place finish in State. Toby hit a staggering 4 Homeruns on 4 consecutive pitches in two separate games for the Devils. Toby was a first team All-Trinity League honoree. Toby had a successful career at Orange Coast College before transferring to Point Loma Nazarene University.
Sean Bonesteele – Sean played for the Tustin Titans, Saddleback Valley Devils, and OC Dawgs. While attend Foothill HS he received first team All Sea-View League honors, Co- Sea View League MVP honors, first team All-County honors, second team All-State honors and was a first team All-CIF honoree. He helped lead the Foothill Knights to a CIF-SS Division II Championship in 2006. Sean Currently pitches at Fresno State.
Vince Hungerford – Vince helped the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ and also helped in a 3rd place finish in State. and also played for the OC Dawgs. He was a first team All-Century League honoree while attending Tustin HS. Vince played two years at Irvine Valley College.
Class of 2007
Matt Reyes – Matt played for the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. He was a first team All-Sea View League honoree and was a member of the OC All-Star game in 2007 while playing for Foothill HS. He pitched two years at Irvine Valley College.
Corey Thibault – Corey played for the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. He graduated from Foothill HS in 2007. He played two years at Irvine Valley College and was named the IVC Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2009
Daniel Renken – Daniel played for both the Saddleback Valley Devils and OC Black Sox. While attending Orange Lutheran HS he was a two time All-Trinity League honoree and earned the Trinity League’s Most Valuable Pitcher Award in 2007. Daniel was drafted in the 35th round with the #1058 pick by the Colorado Rockies in 2007. He currently pitches for Cal St Fullerton.
Gregg Winger – Gregg helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ. He was selected to the first team All-AAF baseball team, Century League Offense Player of Year and a member of the OC All-Star Game. Gregg also helped lead Canyon HS to a 2nd place finish in CIF-Southern Section Division I losing to the #1 team in the nation Long Beach Wilson. He played at Mt Sac College.
Jordan Foreman – Jordan played for the Tustin Titans. He was a two time first team All-Century League honoree and Offense Player of the Year for the Century League while attending El Modena HS. He was a member of the Area Code All-Star Team. Jordan currently plays at Cypress College.
Richard Matamoros – Richard played for both the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. He received second team All-Century League honors in 2008 while attend Villa Park HS. He currently pitches at Chapman University.
Jason Dovel – Jason helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ and a 3rd place finish in State. While attending La Mirada HS he was a three time first team All-CIF honoree, Suburban League MVP, and a two time Most Valuable Pitcher Award winner. He also played a big part in winning the CIF Division III Championship for La Mirada. Jason currently pitches at Cal St Fullerton.
Brandon Pesante – Brandon helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ and a 3rd place finish in State. While attending La Mirada HS he was a two time first time All-Suburban League honoree, first team and second team All-CIF honoree and was a second team Press Telegram Dream Team member in 2007. He also played a big part in winning the CIF Division III Championship for La Mirada. Brandon played Cerritos College.
Stephan Kaupang – Stephen helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ and a 3rd place finish in State. He was a three time first team All-Suburban League honoree, first team All-CIF honoree, and All-Area selection. While attending La Mirada HS he played a big part in winning the CIF Division III Championship for La Mirada. Stephan attended San Diego University before transferring to Cypress College where he hit for the cycle in 2009.
Dean Swisher – Dean played for the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. While attending Foothill HS he received first team All-Sea View League honors.
Greg Carter – Greg played for the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. While attending Foothill HS he received second team All-Sea View League honors.
Class of 2008
Aaron Lambrix – Aaron played for the Tustin Titans, Ronnie helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ and a 3rd place finish in State and played for the OC Dawgs. While attending Foothill HS he won a CIF Division II championship, second team All-Sea View League honors, first team All-Sea View League honors, and All-CIF honors. Aaron currently pitches at Long Beach St College.
Ronnie Shaeffer – Ronnie helped lead the Saddleback Valley Devils to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ and a 3rd place finish in State. While attending Pacifica HS he was a two time first team All-Empire League honoree, Most Offensives Player honors, member of the OC All-Star game and a member of the California Senior All-Star Series. Ronnie currently plays at UCI.
Gerrit Cole – Gerrit played for the Tustin Titans, Saddleback Valley Devils, OC Dawgs and OC Black Sox. While attending Orange Lutheran he captured 2008 All-USA High School first-team honors from USA Today, first team EA Sports All-American, second team Baseball All-American honoree in 2008 and was an AFLAC All-American in 2007. He was selected in the 1st round with the #28 pick by the New York Yankees. He currently pitches at UCLA. Gerrit (4-0) recently pitched a two hit complete game shutout against Canada 1-0 while striking out 7 and helped the U.S. team advance to the Championship game which they won 8-1 against Germany 2009. Class 2009
Taylor Richardson – Taylor played for the Tustin Titans and helped Saddleback Valley Devils to a 3rd place finish in State. He was a two time first team All-Century League honoree and was a member of the OC All-Star game. Taylor will be attending Oklahoma State University to play baseball.
Nick Falbo – Nick played for the Tustin Titans and helped the OC Dawgs to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ. While attending Foothill HS he received first and second team All-Sea View League honors, and second team All-CIF honors. He was also a member of the OC All-Star Game.
Tanner Gore – Tanner played for the Tustin Titans and helped the OC Dawgs to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ. While attending Foothill HS he received first team All-Sea View League honors and second team All-CIF honors. He was also a member of the OC All-Star Game.
Kyle Boudreau – Kyle played for the Tustin Titans and helped the OC Dawgs to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ. While attending Beckman HS he relieved first and second team All-Pacific Coast League honors, Co-MVP of the Pacific League honoree, and first team All-CIF honors. He also helped the Patriots get the CIF Finals in 2009. Kyle will be attending UC Riverside.
Chasen White – Chasen played for the Tustin Titans. While attending El Modena HS he received second team All-Century League honors.
Daniel Maciel – Daniel played for both the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. While attending Foothill HS he received second team All-Sea View League honors.
2010
Brett Swain – Brett played for the Tustin Titans. While attending El Modena HS he received first team All-Century League honors.
Carson Aprato – Carson played for the both the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. While attending Foothill HS he has received second team All-Sea View League honors.
Michael Hill - Michael played with the Tustin Titans. While attending La Quinta he earn All-Garden Grove League Co-MVP honors along with 2nd Team All-CIF in 2010. Michael will go on to play at Long Beach State.
2011
Colin Welmon – Colin played for the Tustin Titans and helped the OC Dawgs to a 28th place finish in the Junior Olympics in Surprise and Peoria, AZ. Colin started as a FRESHMAN on varsity for Foothill HS. He has received a first and second All-Sea View League honors and first team All-CIF honors.
Justin Hazard – Justin played for the Tustin Titans. He started as a FRESHMAN on varsity for Beckman HS. He also helped the Patriots get to the final in CIF in 2009. Justin has received first team All-Pacific Coast league honors.
Chris Barnett – Chris played for the Tustin Titans and OC Dawgs. He started as a FRESHMAN on varsity for El Modena HS and received first team All-Century honors. Had a knee injury his sophomore year.
